Following a fatal stabbing incident, the Montgomery police have opened a death investigation.
Montgomery police reported that at around 10:43 a.m. today, 21-year-old Tiana Dye was discovered with stab wounds in the 400 block of Clanton Avenue, which is situated near the Church of the Ascension and Trinity Presbyterian Church, just off South Hull Street.
According to authorities, Dye was transported to a medical facility, where she was subsequently declared deceased.
Central Alabama CrimeStoppers at (334) 215-STOP is available to receive any tips that could assist the police. However, no further information has been disclosed at this time.
Within the last 24 hours, the city has experienced its second stabbing incident. On Saturday night, a man was stabbed on Goodwyn Drive.
