Four women from Northwest Wisconsin have successfully achieved their goal of swimming the English Channel as a relay team, after three years of meticulous planning, intensive training, and dedicated fundraising efforts.
Pamela Toshner, Michele DeYoung, Lisa Weispfenning, and Jennifer Titus, who are from Barnes, Washburn, and Hayward respectively, comprise the remarkable all-female team that achieved a historic milestone by becoming the first relay team in the state to conquer this remarkable feat.

Pamela, Michele, and Jennifer, along with Rachel Manek, appeared on Good Day Wisconsin to discuss their training and the obstacles they encountered during their remarkable swim, which included a multitude of jellyfish.
Titus expressed their goal as simply finishing the race and reaching France. Additionally, they aimed to complete the race within the average time of 13 hours.
