According to police and sources, a subway rider was allegedly stabbed in the neck during a brawl at a Manhattan train station early Tuesday morning.
According to sources and the NYPD, the suspect and the 52-year-old victim were in an argument prior to the assault on the northbound No. 6 platform of the 96th Street-Lexington Avenue subway station on the Upper East Side at approximately 3:30 a.m.
The subway passenger sustained a single neck injury and was transported to the hospital for medical attention.
The suspect subsequently fled the metro station, according to the police. Arrests have not been made.
