According to the NOPD, Superintendent Anne Kirkpatrick was involved in a car incident at Decatur and Iberville streets on Saturday evening, where she accidentally hit two pedestrians with her vehicle.
Paramedics transported a woman to a nearby hospital for medical treatment. At present, she is in a stable condition. As per the NOPD, the man has not reported any injuries yet.
According to the accident protocol of the department, Kirkpatrick underwent a breathalyzer and a urinalysis. The breathalyzer indicated a result of 0.00. The urinalysis results are still pending and will be available in a couple of days, as per the police.
