Over the weekend, Twitch streamer Fanum ran into some trouble with the law.
The 26-year-old is shown being stopped by the New York Police Department on Sunday during the Bronx Dominican Parade in a video that is making the rounds online.
Fanum, whose real name is Roberto Gonzalez, was tensely approached by a policeman who was waiting in front of his car at a junction with a gun pulled. Fanum can be heard asking, “Why did he pull that gun out?” as the officer motions for the occupants to exit the vehicle.Fanum’s driver is shown being handcuffed in a different video. Then a purple Lamborghini Urus is entered by a police officer, who drives off.
Earlier in the day, Fanum had been streaming live from the parade, apparently as his driver was navigating the route.
It’s unclear if Fanum and his fellow passengers were also taken into custody, or if the driver has been accused of any crimes. The NYPD has been contacted by Complex for comment, and this story might be updated.
