Police have reported that a 13-year-old Montgomery teenager sustained minor injuries in a shooting that occurred on Monday afternoon.
According to Maj. Saba Coleman, Montgomery Police Department spokesperson, the individual was treated on the spot and subsequently released. According to her, the teenager sustained a “graze” wound from a bullet during the assault.
About 1:15 p.m., police and fire medics responded to a complaint of a disturbance and a person being shot in the 500 block of Rosa L. Parks Avenue, according to her. She stated that they were informed that the adolescent had sustained an injury.
The case’s circumstances are still being investigated, and no additional information was promptly disclosed.
