According to police and sources, a migrant allegedly raped a woman at knifepoint near a popular beach boardwalk in Brooklyn, New York City.
The incident occurred at around 9 p.m. on Sunday night near Surf Avenue and West 16 Street in Coney Island, according to the New York City Police Department.
According to the authorities, the woman who was attacked was promptly transported to a nearby hospital and is currently in stable condition. However, her boyfriend, as reported by the New York Post citing law enforcement sources, declined any medical assistance.

The NYPD has identified the suspects as David Davon-Bonilla, 24, and Leovando Moreno, 37, both of whom are homeless.
According to an NYPD source, Davon-Bonilla, who is currently facing charges of first-degree rape and sexual abuse, is a migrant from Nicaragua.
A man from Brooklyn reportedly shouted “Free Palestine” during a stabbing incident that occurred outside a synagogue.
Moreno, on the other hand, is facing charges of second-degree assault.
The NYPD has identified the location in Coney Island where the rape occurred, as shown on Google Maps.

According to a source from the NYPD, Davon-Bonilla, who had previously been arrested for a criminal sexual act in April 2023, was involved in an incident outside a hotel where asylum seekers were being housed.
