Homestead police have recently shared a sketch of a man who allegedly exposed himself to a 10-year-old girl and attempted to grab her. This incident took place in Homestead, Florida.
The Phoenix Apartments, situated in the 1500 block of Northeast Eighth Street, was the site of an altercation on May 31, as per authorities.
As the victim made her way across the parking lot to dispose of her garbage, she caught sight of a man sitting in a vehicle, according to the police report.
According to law enforcement officials, the man was a Black male with a dark complexion, aged between 40 to 50 years, and had short hair. He was estimated to be around 5 feet, 9 inches to 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weighed between 150 to 175 pounds.
The man was spotted by the girl, and as per the police, he stepped out of his car with his pants unbuttoned while exposing his private parts.
According to the victim’s account to the police, the perpetrator proceeded to approach her and attempted to grab her, causing her to quickly pull back and flee towards the playground area to conceal herself.
According to the victim, the man drove away in an older model, four-door sedan, which is believed to be a cream or beige-colored Toyota, after a few minutes.
Authorities have reported that he was last seen driving west on Northeast Eighth Street.
