The Democratic National Convention concludes in Chicago on Thursday night as Vice President Kamala Harris officially accepts her party’s nomination for president.
Governor Tim Walz, the running mate of the nominee, accepted the official nomination for vice president from his party.
“It is truly the greatest honor of my life,” expressed Walz with utmost gratitude.
Governor Walz assured voters that they would experience improvements under a Harris-Walz administration.
According to Walz, Kamala Harris has consistently fought for the American people throughout her career, starting from her early days as a prosecutor, then as a district attorney, attorney general, United States senator, and now as the vice president.
Polling indicates that the race is still neck and neck, with Democrats enlisting some of their most persuasive communicators.
“We need Kamala Harris, a president of joy, to lead us,” expressed former President Bill Clinton.
Bill Clinton emphasized the economic benefits that Americans would experience under President Kamala Harris, while Nancy Pelosi also advocated for her potential presidency.
Nancy Pelosi praised her as a strong and wise leader who eloquently advocates for policy, specifically highlighting her recent efforts to defend a woman’s right to choose.
With the convention coming to a close, Democrats are filled with hope that the energy and enthusiasm witnessed this week will propel the vice president toward success in November.
