Authorities are currently conducting an ongoing search for the individual responsible for a tragic collision, which occurred on the Henry Hudson Parkway in Harlem.
A tragic incident occurred in Harlem as a groom-to-be lost his life in a fiery wrong-way crash on the Henry Hudson Parkway. The devastating accident happened on Saturday morning, just one day before his wedding.
In an interview with the Post, Shauntea Weaver, 40, opened up about the tragic accident that claimed the lives of her fiancé, Kirk Walker, 38, and his cousin, Rob McLaurin, 40. The incident occurred in Harlem near West 165 Street.

“I have been experiencing a range of emotions every hour since it happened,” Weaver shared with the Post.
The NYPD reported that the pickup truck, traveling in the wrong direction, collided head-on with the Dodge Challenger of the two men around 2:20 a.m. Tragically, both men lost their lives in the accident.

“We were supposed to have our ceremony at 5:00 p.m. today – just a few hours from now,” Weaver shared with the Post. “Unfortunately, he passed away a day before our wedding. It’s truly devastating, not only for me but also for his three children who loved him deeply. They are heartbroken by the sudden loss of their father.”

According to the Post, the driver of the pickup truck fled the scene of the accident, along with the passenger, and is currently at large. However, the police were able to apprehend the passenger just 30 feet away from the crash.
The individual was taken to a hospital, and it remains uncertain whether they have been arrested or charged with any criminal offenses.
