The Federal Emergency Management Agency has granted over $61 million to survivors of the severe weather in Iowa this year, including tornadoes and flooding.
According to FEMA, assistance has been granted to over 5,000 households.
Homeowners and tenants in the following counties are eligible: Adair, Adams, Buena Vista, Cedar, Cherokee, Clarke, Clay, Dickinson, Emmet, Harrison, Humboldt, Jasper, Lyon, Mills, Monona, Montgomery, O’Brien, Osceola, Palo Alto, Plymouth, Polk, Pottawattamie, Ringgold, Shelby, Sioux, Story, Union, and Woodbury.
