A man from California has been sentenced to 188 months in federal prison in Iowa for his involvement in the conspiracy to distribute 50 grams or more of methamphetamine and the distribution of 50 Grams or More of methamphetamine. The sentence was handed down in Davenport, IA.
The US Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Iowa has reported that Jose Antonio Reyes, aged 35, collaborated with others to transport significant quantities of methamphetamine from California to Muscatine, Iowa for distribution from October 2020 to July 2022.
Reyes sent packages filled with pounds of methamphetamine to his partners in Muscatine. After completing his prison sentence, Reyes will have to undergo a five-year supervised release.
