The search for the suspect is still ongoing by the NYPD.
According to authorities, the altercation started when the suspects and the victim got into an argument outside the station around 8 p.m. on Sunday. The situation quickly escalated, resulting in the stabbing of a 13-year-old girl. Thankfully, officers have stated that the girl is expected to make a full recovery.
The suspects are still on the loose. Additional video footage reveals them jumping over the turnstiles in the subway system during the night of the crime. It is yet to be confirmed by the police whether the teenagers were armed during the recorded incident, and the specific station where it took place has not been disclosed.
Metal detectors were recently introduced at certain subway stations. However, no metal detectors were seen at the Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center station this morning.
