Following a car crash in Manhattan on Monday, authorities reported that one guy was killed and another was injured.
Around 3:30 p.m., two males, both 51, were struck by a car who “failed to operate the roadway” while they were crossing the street in East Harlem near East 105th Street and First Avenue, according to the NYPD.
To receive medical attention for their wounds, the guys were brought to hospitals. Officials said that one of the males was declared deceased at the hospital.
Moments before the incident, witnesses informed PIX11 News that the man had pushed someone out of the path.
Police added that the driver stayed at the site and was brought to the hospital to receive medical attention for his wounds.
