According to sources and the NYPD, a friend of a 54-year-old woman went to her home on Wednesday to check on her since he hadn’t heard from her in weeks. The police were called to conduct a wellness check upon the friend’s arrival at the woman’s residence.
Around 10:15 a.m. in Kensington, he caught a whiff of the odor emanating from 640 Ditmas Ave. and promptly alerted the police.
Sources have reported that there have been multiple domestic incidents at the home, resulting in police intervention on several occasions.
Police have stated that the medical examiner’s office in the city is currently performing autopsies on the two bodies to ascertain the cause of death.
The individuals’ names have not been disclosed yet.
