The latest case on the Wheel of Justice involves the New Orleans Police Department’s efforts to identify and apprehend the individuals responsible for attacking a crew working in the Gentilly area. The department is actively pursuing this case.
Police have stated that the attack began at 10:58 PM on Monday, July 17th, at the Gentilly Shopping Center, located in the 3000 block of Gentilly Boulevard. Security camera footage released by the NOPD provides a clear account of the incident.
As captured on video, a crew was busy sweeping and cleaning up trash in a shopping center parking lot. Suddenly, a dark colored sedan pulled up and a man swiftly got out of the car, carrying a rifle. In a threatening manner, he started running towards the workers. The footage shows the gunman chasing the workers to their pickup truck. Although he fired some shots, fortunately, no one was injured.
The workers finish their cleaning and subsequently leave, as the man returns to his sedan and drives away.
