On Monday morning, the Orleans Parish Coroner’s Office revealed the identity of the man who lost his life in a recent shooting incident in New Orleans.
Last Wednesday, the New Orleans Police Department reported that Eric Gary, 50 years old, was fatally shot in a residence located in the 7th Ward, specifically in the 1400 block of North Claiborne Avenue. Upon responding to the incident at 2:19 a.m., authorities discovered that Gary had sustained several gunshot wounds.
Paramedics at the scene pronounced him dead. The police did not provide any additional information regarding the shooting, such as a likely suspect or motive.
