Dr. Brian Richardson, a renowned urologist in Montgomery, recently faced arrest on drug charges, as well as for attempting to elude law enforcement officers.
Richardson was taken into custody by the police on July 26th in the City of Alabaster in Shelby County. However, he has already posted bail and been released.
He faced charges for possessing or receiving a controlled substance illegally, as well as attempting to evade officers by surpassing the speed limit by 20 mph.
During the chase, Richardson managed to reach a speed of 125 mph, exceeding the 70 mph limit.
When the chase finally ended, the police discovered that he was in possession of 1.31 grams of MDMA, also known as Ecstasy, and 3.2 grams of cocaine.
Richardson, who is 46 years old, previously held positions at The Jackson Clinic. In 2016, he was appointed as the Chief of Robotics and Minimally Invasive Surgery at Jackson Hospital. Currently, he is practicing at Advanced Urology of Montgomery.
