Montgomery police have made an arrest in connection with a shooting incident that occurred on Covered Bridge Drive last week, according to an announcement made by the police department.
An 18-year-old named My’Quan Morris was taken into custody on July 19th and accused of committing capital murder and first-degree robbery. Morris is currently being held without bail at the Montgomery County Detention Facility.
During the early morning hours of July 16, Morris allegedly killed 20-year-old Kavone Mosquera and injured another man in a shooting incident.
According to authorities, there was another shooting in the same block later that afternoon, which resulted in two other men being injured.
On the same night, a man lost his life a few streets away on Bridle Path Lane.
The authorities have not yet revealed whether there is any connection between these shootings. At present, the investigation is still ongoing.
